Where do the sessions take place?
At Slades Farm Park, Ensbury Avenue, Bournemouth, BH10 4EU, on the outdoor grass pitches.
When are the sessions?
On Saturdays in term time: 9:00–10:00 and 10:30–11:30, each in four age groups (4–6, 6–8, 8–10 and 10–14). Some Saturdays are closed, for example over Christmas, so check the timetable for the dates.
What ages do you coach?
Boys and girls aged 4 to 14, from complete beginners to confident players.
How much does it cost?
£5.95 for a single Saturday, or book the term at £5.95 a Saturday (£23.80 for a 4-week term). There's no joining fee.
What's the difference between pay as you go and a term booking?
Pay as you go books one Saturday at a time. A term booking holds your child's place for every Saturday left in the term. Join part-way through and you only pay for the Saturdays that are left.
Can my child try a session first?
Yes. If your child hasn't been before, their first session is free. Choose Free trial on the class page and pick one of the next Saturdays.
What if a class is full?
Join the waiting list from the class page and we'll email you as soon as a place comes up.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes. Book brothers and sisters together and the second and any further child get 10% off.
How do I book?
Go to Book, choose your child's age, then pick a class and either the rest of the term or a single Saturday. Add it to your basket (you can add more children or classes), fill in your child's details and pay securely by card. You get a booking reference straight away.
How far ahead can I book?
Term bookings open up to 6 weeks before a term starts, and single Saturdays go on sale 7 days before each one. Booking the term is the way to be sure of a place.
Can I see my bookings?
Yes. Go to My account and enter the email address you booked with. We'll email you a link that signs you in, with no password to remember.
What does my child need to wear and bring?
Comfortable sports clothes, trainers or football boots for grass, shin pads if they have them, a drink, and a coat when it's cold or wet.
Is my child good enough?
Every child is welcome. Coaches work to each child's level, whether they are a complete beginner or an experienced player looking for a bigger challenge.
Who are the coaches?
Qualified, friendly and experienced coaches. Soccer Stars was founded by FA licensed youth football coach Jim Legg, and sessions follow the English FA's 4-Corner Model.
Do you do 1-2-1 coaching?
Yes. We offer individual and small-group coaching tailored to your child's goals. Get in touch to arrange a time.
Do you run birthday parties?
Yes. Football birthday parties start from £199, with three packages to choose from. We hold them at Slades Farm Park or can come to you within 10 miles.
Can I buy Soccer Stars kit?
Yes: training tops, full kits, hoodies and shower jackets with the club badge and your child's initials. See the Training wear page.
